Santos GLNG’s team’s life-saving blood drive

The Santos GLNG team has demonstrated exceptional community commitment through their recent blood and plasma donation campaign, delivering 104 donations that could potentially save 312 lives across Queensland.

The successful initiative, saw team members from across the LNG Gladstone operations come together to support the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood service. These blood donations will support emergency surgeries, cancer treatments, and other critical medical procedures across Queensland hospitals.

"The response from our team has been absolutely incredible," said GLNG Chief Executive Officer Stephen Harty. "Seeing our people roll up their sleeves – literally – to help their fellow Queenslanders shows the true spirit of Santos GLNG and our commitment to the communities where we operate."

The campaign's impact extends far beyond the impressive donation tally. Blood and plasma donations are essential for maintaining Australia's medical system, supporting everything from routine surgeries to emergency trauma care.
