LNG MARKETING

OPL administers the long-term LNG sales and purchase agreements (SPAs) with Kogas and Petronas, on behalf of the GLNG Joint Venture Partners. These foundational SPAs underpin GLNG and enabled the joint venture to make the financial investment decision in early 2011.

In 2015, GLNG delivered its first cargo to Kogas on a ship owned by Petronas.

In 2021, GLNG celebrated the export of its 500th cargo of LNG with the vast majority of those cargoes (470) delivered to Kogas and Petronas.
