Santos GLNG Employees Shine at Brisbane Marathon

The Santos GLNG team showcased their sporting excellence this past weekend at the Brisbane Marathon, with 27 employees and family members participating across various race categories.

Starting at the scenic Brisbane City Botanic Gardens and crossing the iconic Story Bridge, participants chose from four events: marathon, half marathon, 10km run/walk, and 5km run/walk. It was a fantastic morning filled with community spirit and camaraderie.

The Brisbane Marathon supports Ronald McDonald House Charities Southeast Queensland (RMHC SEQ), which offers accommodation and support to families with seriously ill or injured children receiving treatment in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast.

Special congratulations to Santos GLNG competitors Will Lassig, who recorded his personal best of 47:24 in the 10km, and Alastair Katrivessis, who finished the 5km in an impressive 23:21. Their achievements are a testament to the team's dedication to health, safety, and fitness.  Well done to all who took part!
