In mid-June, a dedicated team of Santos GLNG volunteers proudly supported the Mount Larcom Show’s Wood chop and Chainsaw Events.

Our wonderful volunteers at the show - Darren Hockey, Peter Howkins, Justin Brown, Dan Cairns, Yancy Yakut and Rachel Mills.

Since 2011, we have stood not only as a committed sponsor but also as active participants, with our enthusiastic volunteers bringing hands-on support year after year. This long-standing partnership highlights our deep commitment to giving back to the communities where we live and work.

We’re excited to share that this year’s fundraising BBQ raised over $10,000, with all proceeds going directly to the Mount Larcom and District Show Society. These funds will contribute to the continued growth and success of the show, ensuring it remains a beloved tradition for generations to come.

This year is especially significant as the Show Society celebrates 85 years of hosting the annual agricultural show—a cherished event that unites the community in honoring rural heritage, local talent, and community spirit. We are proud to play a part in supporting such a meaningful legacy.

Over the years, the Santos GLNG team has taken charge of coordinating the BBQ, raising more than $70,000 in total for the Mount Larcom and District Show Society and the wider community. It’s a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose and spirit of generosity.
