Celebrating 10 Years Since Our First LNG Cargo with Seri Bakti

This month it’s been 10 years since the Seri Bakti sailed out of Curtis Island carrying Santos GLNG’s very first LNG cargo. 

Back on 16 October 2015, that historic shipment set the tone for 10 years of efficient and reliable operations. It was the result of years of hard work, teamwork, and dedication from so many of you across the business. Since then, our LNG plant has grown into a world-class operation, shipping hundreds of cargos and playing a vital role in supplying energy to markets around the globe.
